The FreeFlex FF38 Special Driver Shaft is one of the most unique ultralight performance shafts in modern golf. Weighing approximately 38 grams (about 44 grams finished with paint), the FreeFlex 38 Special is engineered to help golfers increase swing speed with minimal effort. The 38 Special is designed primarily for golfers with a smooth tempo and efficient transition. While commonly recommended for swing speeds in the 80–95 mph range, the shaft’s unique performance characteristics allow it to support a wide range of swing speeds while still delivering exceptional speed and distance potential.
