Mitsubishi Kuro Kage XM Shaft Overview

MitsubishNew for 2016 Mitsubishi Rayon introduces the Kuro Kage XM Shaft line. The XM features the same proprietary TiNi Wire technology featured in previous Kuro Kage XT and Silver models.

This provides for an incredibly stable and responsive tip section. The Kuro Kage XM shaft is available in 60, 70, and 80 gram weights to fit a wide range of golfers. Last year the XT model gained recognition as the driver shaft of choice for 2015 PGA Championship winner Jason Day.

With its low launch and spin profile the XT proved to be an outstanding choice for higher swing speed players looking for a shaft that will help maintain a low ball flight and achieve optimal spin. Mitsubishi designed the Kuro Kage XM shaft to fit a much wider range of golfers than its predecessor.

The XM features a softer tip section and firmer butt section when compared to the XT. This results in a higher launch profile. With its mid launch and low spin characteristics the XM will be a great option for mid handicappers and scratch golfers alike. Aesthetically the XM is easily a 10 out of 10. The Ion Plating process Mitsubishi uses to finish this shaft gives it an incredible appearance. At The Shaft Store we have always considered Mitsubishi Rayon shafts to be among the finest looking and performing shafts on the market. This is no exception. If first impressions are any indication this shaft will be finding its way into quite a few golf bags over the next year.
